SRU apartments

Last year I lived in the residential halls and man, did I dislike it! I couldn't stand how thin the walls were. I liked my roommates but I could hear everything they said and did which is so frustrating especially since I studied a lot more than them and am a light sleeper. So, I couldn't wait to get out of them and live in a place where I couldn't hear a thing. Well, the place I'm in now is WORSE! I hear everything on each side of my apartment and I can hear the guy above me brush his teeth. It is absolutely awful and the landlord did nothing about it. Just said, they are nice boys upstairs. Who cares if they are nice, your apartments are dirt cheap!

ANATOMY

I figured I would take a break from my anatomy studying by writing a blog about it. The test is on the nervous system and the heart; not great stuff but learning to make it interesting. The class I guess I hear from other people has been much harder in recent semesters. Geesh, I think it's so freaking hard now. There are a gazillion points in the class so it isn't too hard to maintain a C while still pretty much failing each test. Most of the test questions come from the slides but the professor rewords a lot so you actually have to understand the info! It's draining and hopefully I can retain some of the information after the class is over.

We all know what number this means. Let me tell you it is not as bad as what everyone says! Maybe it was pretty bad a semester or two ago but it's really not something to get worked up over. Dr. McKinley is a great teacher with tons of insight on real experiences. She tells you how it is and she gives you beneficial info. Her grading reinforces our mistakes and I don't think that's a bad thing. It makes us be very aware of our grammar and takes us out of our comfort zones. That is something we need and I enjoyed the class to say the least.

sru police

The sru police take advantage of the university's students by pulling them over for the pretty much nothing. It is illegal to not have a reason to pull someone over and they make us look really bad. They have no sympathy and love to take our money!
